Jimmy Gravity and his business partner Milan started repairing guitars in a basement in the 1970's, and in 1978 Gravity Strings was born.
Since its inception, Gravity Strings has earned a reputation for their quality and high standard of excellent that is put into each instrument that passes through their doors. Each year they repair anywhere between 1800 to 2000 guitars. Not only are they in the repair business, but
they also perform modifications, customizations, and build custom guitars. Gravity's signature work has been performed for names like Pete Townsend, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Tom Petty, Eddie Van Halen, and many others. Every staff member is an active musician, and their dedication to their work and their art makes them uniquely qualified experts who are able to thoroughly meet each customer's individual need. Most have been employed by Jimmy for well over a decade.
